How to Solve the Voltage Drop and Uneven Brightness Problems in Evoke?

Problem 4: Voltage Drop and Uneven Brightness
The extra Long LED strip installations introduce another engineering challenge: voltage drop.
As installation length increases, electrical resistance in the conductors and cables can reduce the voltage available at the far end of the lighting run.
The result may include:
- Reduced brightness
- Uneven illumination
- Color differences
- Incorrect RGB/RGBW performance
- Unstable operation
- Synchronization problems
Simply using a higher-power supply does not automatically solve every voltage-drop problem.

The complete electrical design should consider:
- Operating voltage
- Power per meter
- Total length
- Cable length
- Cable gauge
- Power-feed position
- Controller capacity
- Number of lighting zones
For larger pool and landscape projects, EVOKEPOOL can help evaluate the lighting system as a complete electrical solution rather than treating every strip as an independent product.
Our electrician engineer can help you solve this problem, and the maximum length of each silicone neon strip lights we can make is 30 meters for each pieces, which can siginifcantly reduce the uneven brightness.
Problem 5: Different Lights, Different Colors
This is one of the most overlooked problems in pool and landscape lighting.
Imagine a backyard containing:
Underwater Pool Lights + Pool Neon Flex + Waterfall Lights + Garden Lights
All four products may be RGB or RGBW.
But that does not mean they will automatically produce the same lighting experience.
For example:
- The pool light displays blue.
- The LED strip displays green.
- The waterfall light displays purple.
- The garden light starts a dynamic color show.
Technically, every product is operating.
Visually, the lighting design has failed.
The problem is not the ability to produce colors.
The problem is color-program coordination.
From Product Matching to Lighting-System Matching
EVOKEPOOL's experience in swimming pool lighting allows us to approach LED strip and neon projects from a different perspective.
Instead of asking only:
“Which LED strip do you need?”
we can evaluate:
“What lighting system are you trying to create?”
This makes it possible to consider pool lighting, linear lighting, water-feature lighting, and landscape lighting together.
